Theres a space between the cells

There's a space between the cells
There is air within us to be felt
But it seems
That we are kneeling
Under the weight of
Billions of pointless deaths
Our bodies
are our engines
We need to save what's left
We need to save What's left
There is wisdom in insanity
But we need to save what's left
of our humanity
Before we are bereft
And there is no place for theft
Of the only meaning
we have left
Lets find a land in which we can all live
Together.
I'm too heavy for myself
I can't lift me from the shelf
I am stuck and cannot move
Every day I drift in moods
I'm trying to be sane
And hold my own against the grain
But nothing ever seems to change
And my heart is just a chain
I'm tethered to the coldest ground
And my mind just isn't sound
I am limping through my life
A lamp in darkness for to find
But the loneliness just leaves me blind
There's a corridor
With nothing but locked doors
No way out
Just cold neon lights
Flickering with malice
The air is dead
There's no one to be seen
And in it is never ending
There's a space between the cells
