In darkness so bright

Every longing a fear

Every shadow a tear

The mountains lean forward

The valleys stretch high

The stars write patterns that never die

The wind hums in riddles

The wound of existence becomes wisdom

And in the soul illusions dissolve

Yet the dream still remains

A heart that is fractured still holds the chains

Morning is night when we see that the light

only exists in darkness so bright

Everything broken is forming anew

And every beginning leads back to you

Evening becomes a circle that bends

Without start and without end

The stars leave their marks on the vast open sky

The songs of the unseen will never die

Step by step the vale grows thin

A gentle light comes from within

Reality now broken wide

The world flows slowly like the tide

To understand existence

You must see from above

A higher point of view reveals the terrain which we call love

If we reach for a soul

And never grasp it

We can never be whole

And our memory starts it

A movement towards a new ground to hold

When we fear to grow old

The meaning never unfolds

And our bodies are vessels for our blood to flow

In distorted lines hearts are confined

and wisdom pays no mind

Wishes and hope

Make us all blind

To the truth of this world which is nothing but kind

Together we live and alone we might show

What was never there in the warmth of the snow

Water evaporates and forms

The mirthless condition is a thoughtful position

All this intrusion on our sacred solution

We all live in a fight

That never ends and on blindness depends

We are oneness in everything

No borders in the sky

The truth is love unshaken

The rest are passing lies

Together and alone we shine
