Enveloping the weird

Lie many things

You never know what they might bring

But inside you're always one

From that you may never run

nothing else, really matters

And there's nothing there that flatters

Real truth is within

When we realise

That we shouldn't hide

Anything inside

We manifest ourselves

By being free

And never slaves

Of society's standards

They can never brand us

There is a reason for us to be free

There is a reason for us to be!

Enveloping the weird

Lie the masks of separateness

Which might look the same

In a world that's filled with shame

We're waiting for something to change

But do nothing different

We're waiting for things to get better

But we're acting worse and worse

Moving through the mind

There's nothing there

But the rotten hands

Of the dead

Who were once holding life

Why are we so blind?

See there is no scythe

To cut the grass on which we lie

We're living in a hive

Controlled by master manipulators

In search of stolen knives

Silencing the “traitors”

Hiding in the mounds

Under walls of sound

There is no place for people

Who won't subscribe

To these empty values we enshrine
